Cabo San Lucas with the Potters 2010

So, we decided it would be so much more fun to go to Mexico with friends and the only people willing were Chris and Sherry Potter! (they didn't know us very well before the trip-hahaha).
We had such a blast bouldering on the edge of the Pacific, playing beach volleyball, water volleyball, tennis, jet skiing, whale watching, zip-lining, dancing and walking all over the barrio in search of the best Taqueria!

Benvenidos a Mexico!

Christmas 2009

Okay, okay, I know, I am finally posting pictures from Christmas!

So, we took left Tucson for the first time for Christmas to visit Peter and Sienna in LA!  They just moved into a home near Malibu in a storybook neighborhood with tree-lined streets and cute little houses with backyards.  It was a great trip.  The boys loved being with their little nieces and we had so much fun cooking and celebrating together!  We also wnet ice skating in the outdoor rink in Malibu!   The only downside was the 9 hour drive...the boys could not stop complaining-although they slept most of the way (teenagers!)

Before we left Tucson, we decorated our tree and took our annual family Christmas portraits!

Oh, Christmas Tree!

A beautiful hand-blown glass ornament (a gift from the boys' mom Dawn)

More pretty ornaments!

Everyone loves Rob's expression!

This was a close second

Yes, we were all a little crazy from posing all morning and we are playing find the person behind the Agave!

Homemade GIGI! A type of cookie Rob's nonna used to make around the holidays. The dough is deep fried and then dipped in a coffee syrup and sprinkled with lemon zest and powdered sugar! YUM!

The boys helped make the dough and create the shapes!

Early morning start on the road trip to LA!
