Sunday. Rob, Brian and I decided to check out the Huckaby Trail and connect to the Jim Thompson Trail for the return home. It was easy to make a loop right from their house. We rode up Schnebly Hill Rd to the Huckaby trail head which took us down to Oak Creek. 
Awesome views abound no matter where you are in Sedona! About half way down the Huckaby we came around the ridge and could see across Oak Creek Canyon to Brian and Amy's House! Its the one in the middle just to the right of the "A"-frame.
The trail was, at times, right on the edge of the ridge! Pucker Factor: 9!
As we dropped down in elevation, the trees thickened, the trail turned to slick rock, the smell of pine filled the air, and we could hear the rushing waters of Oak Creek. A delight for all the senses! This is why we mountain bike!
